Ideas and resources

The Museum of Australian Democracy has many useful resources online including 110 documents which played a key role in the foundation of Australian democracy and an online timeline outlining milestones and figures that influenced the development of democratic ideas, laws and institutions.

Here are some ideas, including some suggestions from our collection to help you get started. This list is not intended to be comprehensive or in any way compulsory. Where relevant we have included links to information on our website.

The National History Challenge is a research-based competition for students. Entries for 2015 are now open and close on 21 August. More information is available on the National History Challenge site.
