Ideas and resources

Looking for a place to start? Why not look at our Exploring Democracy site? It has lots of important moments in our democratic history and is a great place to get ideas. You can search here http://explore.moadoph.gov.au/.

You could also get ideas just by exploring our home page moadoph.gov.au/.

For example you may be interested in topics like women and leadership in our democracy, or Indigenous stories of Australian democracy (try looking at our exhibition website for the exhibition MARNTI WARAJANGA-we’re travelling.

Look in the Research Centre at Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House or visit the website at moadoph.gov.au/research/. The Research Centre holds many publications on Australia’s prime ministers and democracy. You can also download free information leaflets on Australia’s Prime Ministers (Prime Facts) which might help you identify a defining moment in democracy that one of our prime ministers was involved in.
